What is the perfect female body shape?

What is the perfect female body shape?

What do you think of the ladies in the above picture? Do you like them? Do you admire their current bodies? Would you believe me if I told you that this is not the ideal female body shape? No offence to these models and all the skinny ladies in the world but the fact of the matter is being skinny is not having a perfect body. To me it looks like you are not being fed. Although beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I wanted to venture into the past and the present to define the perfect female body. A body shape that both Jesus and President Obama, can give a thumbs-up on. The hourglass figure.

Although the current media worships the skinny look, don’t believe that to be perfect. Some women have such gorgeous curves and still consider themselves fat. I grew up in the era of the skinny model, and I have known many women who literally stress over their body size. Although I may have my own definition of an Ideal body, I do however find the notion of idolizing skinny women as sad. Another thing is, the same models that are glorified in the western media might not be glorified in other countries. The ideal female body shape varies in different cultures.

The world and history’s perspective of the hourglass figure.

A social experiment was conducted in 2012 to determine the ideal female body measurements. They questioned 40 females and 40 males (all Caucasian) regarding this topic and used BMI (Body Mass Index) to identify the median. By the way, BMI is body mass/body height. They discovered that both sexes identified female beauty as ladies with a below 19 BMI and a fairly curvaceous body. Basically tall and skinny with a little curves. A UK lingerie company took this research to the next level. They did the research in a larger scope with men and women of many different ages. They found that men’s taste is completely different from ladies taste. The images below show the difference.

perfect female body according to man.

When it comes to breasts and butt, there is also a determinant in most cultures. Scientifically speaking, big breasts and large hips determine fertility. Hips determine that a lady can easily conceive babies where as big breasts determine that she can store more milk for the baby. There has been multiple researches on the topic of breast and butt size. A research in Georgia Gwinett College determined that curvy female bodies reward man the same way as drugs. In another research done at the University of Nebraska, they found that the larger the female assets, the longer the male stares. A study in UC Santa Barbara suggests that women with thicker butts and thighs have a reproductive advantage. Extra fat in these areas contain omega-3 fatty acids to help moms and their baby’s brain during pregnancy. In terms of history, the media has always publicized different female body shapes in different eras. A quick summary of the eras can be seen in the image below:

History of the perfect body image

The ancient Greek calculated perfection based on the Golden ratio (Phi). The Golden ratio is an irrational number used to determine aesthetic proportions. It can be seen all over nature and in architecture. Plastic surgeons use phi in reconstructive surgery. Leonardo Da Vinci also saw the perfect man to fit the golden ratio based on the Vestuvian man.  A great article on how beauty can be determined by the golden ratio can be found here.

Venus the perfect female body

The truth of the matter is, regardless of time and cultures, there is a body type in which all people can recognize as attractive. People have found women to be attractive based on these aspects:

  1. Determinants of youth like large eyes and small noses.
  2. Determinants of sexual arousal and interest like redder lips, dilated pupils etc.
  3. Health determinants like good skin, fit body, long legs, etc.
  4. Determinants of fertility like breasts, hips, butt, etc.

A lady’s face is considered beautiful if it meets certain proportions and also show fertility, attraction and youth. In terms of women bodies, there is also a median for that. The known term for the ideal body shape is the hourglass shape. I talk a little about the hour glass shape on my article titled, “what is your body type.” The hourglass shape is generally identified when your shoulders are almost the same size as the hips. Adding a large bust and a nice butt is what can be considered ideal. Now different races and cultures either prefer an extreme of these qualities, or the lesser side of these qualities, but none the less as long as you have an hourglass shape, then you are considered attractive. Here are some examples of ladies with different types of the hourglass shape.

We can all agree that these three ladies have an hourglass shape. Now let’s go into detail of the measurements that determine an hourglass shape. I mentioned before that an hourglass figure is when the shoulders are relatively similar in size with the hips, but the waist is relatively smaller than both. Research and correlation with the Golden ration considers the perfect hourglass shape as:

  • What the waist measurement is equal to the height x 0.375.
  • When the bust measurement is equal to the waist x 1.5
  • When the hip measurement is equal to the bust measurement.

Note that the measurements should be in inches. As you can see, these calculations also consider height as a major determine due to proportions.  For a 5 foot 4 inches lady, her perfect hourglass measurements would sum up to 36-24-36, i.e. 36″ bust, 24″ waist and 36″ hips. Note that these measurements are not portrayed in most magazine covers, and those skinny models that you see everywhere. Some of you might have the perfect hourglass shape but still feel the need to lose weight due to societies’ depiction of perfection. So what does all this mumbo jumbo amount to? Well for starters, we can all agree on what is considered the perfect female body shape, and now we can discuss on how to attain that. First let’s get a couple of facts and fundamentals out of the way.

  • In order for you to change your long term image, you need to change your life.
  • You cannot be a prisoner to society’s depiction of perfection.
  • Good exercise and diet is unavoidable when it comes to wanting a better body.
  • You have to have a long term goal and figure out how you will get there.

With that being said, a lot of ladies go about achieving ideal bodies the wrong way. They make a handful of naïve mistakes that they believe is working, but in reality it’s not. Let’s also not forget that most women are caught up between what they see in the billboards and magazines, what their husbands and boyfriends identify as ideal and what society and other people determine to be ideal. That’s a pretty crazy mix if you ask me. Society might generalize on a lot of so called, ‘Guaranteed ways to lose weight,’ and many women believe it. Some common mistakes women make are:

  • Crash dieting (Drastically cutting the amount of calories consumption.)
  • Too much cardio
  • Not using weights
  • Excessive, concentrated workouts

A lot of you may not know this, but dramatically cutting your calorie consumption is not a great long term idea. It may work great for the first couple of weeks but its very unsustainable. Meaning after a couple of months you will have to go back to normal eating habits. Unfortunately when you do that all the weight lost will be rapidly regained. When it comes to eating, you are not supposed to shock the body with a dramatic habit change. You need to start a well-structured diet that your body can be accustomed to. Juicing is one thing that I would recommend to everybody by the way. For more on good dieting, check out my article, “healthy eating.”

When it comes to cardio, it works super well for overweight individuals as it’s an exceptional way to burn calories. It may be a great way to lose weight but if you are not overweight, over doing cardio will lead the body to adapt to it, making you consume more energy and sugary foods. Ever wondered why sprinters are buff but cross country runners are skinny? Its because the body needs a lot more energy to sustain this habit. The body also begins to use oxygen and energy from the muscles to sustain this appetite. Another effect is the cortisol hormone that is produced. Cortisol uses up muscle tissue and slows down protein synthesis. Less muscle mass means a slower metabolism when the body is not active. Combine this with a lot of other effects makes it very easy to gain weight when the body is not active.

Muscle creation is also important. Not using weights at all is not a great idea. I mean you can have a great diet and a great cardio routine, but if you don’t create muscle, you will still have mostly blob underneath your skin. The only difference will be less blob. Excessive, repetitive, workouts is not a good idea neither. The body needs recovery time for the muscles to grow. You should evenly divide your workouts across a week, and make sure that in each workout, you are working hard enough. I have a short article on waist training exercises that suggests some great routines.🙄   Find out how long it really takes to gain waist training results and what the real determinants are.

So what should be done to attain your ideal image?

Ending off, I would like to say forget society and its depiction of perfection. Killing yourself to be skinny is not the way to go. You have seen how most man prefer curvy compared to skinny. Even men’s magazine portray the ideal lady to be different as the one in women’s magazines. Don’t let the media fool you as the trend will eventually change. Your goals should not be influenced by others, they should only be your goals. Feel free to comment and share with me your thoughts.

Before we get into the detailed review, check out the results real people are having.before and after waist training

First of all, we can all agree on one thing;

It’s not that easy to lose unwanted weight.

It’s even harder to achieve your desired body image, especially in this current society.

So how did I do this?

Well, it turns out you can acquire that hourglass figure many yearn for, in little time and with not as much effort as you may think.

Today, I am going to explain how I managed to accomplish my body image goals, and change my life. I’ll talk about the good and the bad, and will go into as much detail as I possibly can on the subject. But first let me start by explaining who I am…

Who am I?

I am a recent college graduate who has tried just about everything to lose weight. I was not necessarily overweight, but like most women, I felt that my body wasn’t quite where I wanted it to be and I wasn’t reaching my full potential. This was mainly because of the curse of my genes. I unfortunately used to have a somewhat boyish body, with not many curves and weirdly placed love handles.

I also had the muffin top curse (that my boyfriend liked for some odd reason.)

Let me ask you a question:

When was the last time you felt ultimately confident in the way you look? Felt sexy? Voluptuous? Vibrant?

If you’re like most women, you really have to think about that question, and I was definitely one of them.

Don’t get me wrong, there were  times that I was very confident with my body, but those were too far and few between.

Here’s the truth:

Achieving my ideal body image seemed to be a hassle.

I am a pretty active gal, so exercise was not the problem. I ate a normal American diet, was addicted to coffee and I indulged in fast food maybe once every other week.

I used to not have enough time to chase my body image goals. After college, most of my time was spent working and trying to chase my entrepreneurial goals. My work is over-demanding and the extra time I had, I spent trying to chase my goals.

So it seemed like achieving my ideal body image was not a priority, due to the fact that I did not have any free time to put into a serious routine.

Don’t get me wrong;

I did exercise and workout about three times a week, but it did not seem to be enough to get what I really wanted.

Another MAJOR issue keeping me from my ideal body was the level of motivation.

corset for waist training

As much as I wanted to change my body image, the motivation wasn’t really there. So the goal became a kind of a background goal that I really wanted, but I could do without.

I saw a lot in the media about waist training and I remember thinking, “Nothing could possibly be this simple.”

I did some research and dug much deeper into as much as information as I could find online and the results were shocking.

Here’s the kicker;

There was no information out there about waist training or corset training.

no information on waist training

I found a lot of companies that sell waist trainers, along with celebrity blogs and magazines bashing celebrities who waist train. It was somewhat disappointing because normally companies that sell a product have to educate you on what they are selling.

Unfortunately, all these other companies wanted to profit from insecurities that drive someone to purchase a waist trainer and they could care less about educating and helping women.

On the other side:

The rest of the information was just gossip blogs and magazines criticizing celebrities who use waist trainers.

It was those experiences that drove me to help found Royal Lioness.

I was forced to do a lot of research both online and offline to learn all that I could about waist trainers. I also dug deep into corset training and other similar niches.

All in all;

I came to the conclusion that it was worth a try.

A friend who sold waist trainers (who is now my business partner) gave me one to try, and guided me throughout the process and the things I should and shouldn’t do.

The one thing I loved most is the fact that she encouraged me not to succumb to mediocrity and keep working to be the ideal me.

She encouraged me to live the life that I see myself. She also helped me gain the motivation I so desperately needed. This is my personal review based on my experience and my results.

So what is a waist trainer? (also known as a waist training corset/ waist cincher.)

Most of us would give almost anything to get that hourglass shape, but what are our options?

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jessica Alba have introduced this “new” thing that has helped them lose weight post pregnancy. The buzz has been high, but so has the criticism.

Critics have been raving about the idea of the new found waist trainers, also known as girdle, body shaper, faja and shapewear.

So what is a waist trainer?😀 Check out the ultimate waist training guide or our waist training blog to learn more on waist training.

A waist trainer is a latex/rubber waist garment that constrains your waist and holds heat around your waist area.

At least the one in Royal Lioness does.

They come in different sizes and types depending on the results you are looking for. Waist training is a gradual process of waist reduction using a waist cincher (trainer).

Royal Lioness waist trainers specifically use a science known as thermogenics to maximize the effects of your activities. This means they are created with thermal pockets to stimulate perspiration at your core.

Here’s the best part:

You look sexy when you’re wearing it!

The garment basically increases heat so as to stimulate perspiration around your abdominal area. This in turn burns more calories and it is especially useful in burning specific fatty tissues.

I go in detail as to how Royal Lioness waist trainers work in the article “How Long Does it Take to Gain Waist Training Results” and “The Science of Waist Training.”

Before I knew all this mumbo jumbo on waist training and before I helped create a unique waist trainer, I was first a naive young lady who was simply just interested in the idea. However, the main question I was asking myself was, does waist training work?

My experience was different from most because I actually had a close friend who sold waist trainers and had a lot of evidence that convinced me to start. However, that did not stop me from researching.

Some of you may be skeptical on what a waist trainer is and what it does. Many confuse 21st century waist training with the old school corset training or tight lacing.

royal lioness active wear ad

The practice was very popular in the Victorian times but has been something that has come back in a modern way. The oldies used leather and lace corsets with more than 24 steel bones, that basically restrain your waist ridiculously. Aside from the obvious health issues this caused, the garment just became less popular and was considered a hazardous garment.

As we progressed in time and our science and way of thinking continue to modernize, so did a lot of our old ideas. A waist trainer is basically the 21st century version of a waist corset, kind of like a reinvention of the wheel.

Old wheels did not have tires and rims, but new ones do.

The new garment is nowhere near or old school corsets. People refer to the modern day waist trainers as a corset just because of a lack of a better description. This confusion has led many to believe that the modern day waist trainers have the same health issues as corsets and work in the same way. The fact of the matter is, that is not true. You can find a handful of evidence pertaining to the issues caused by corsets, from 100 years ago to even now, but you will not find anything regarding modern day waist trainers.

corset
dangers of corset training

However people still confuse the two, which is understandable. Anyway, regardless of these facts you may still be asking, is waist training safe? The fact of the matter is every thing has pros and cons. So let’s check out the pros and cons of waist training.👿  SOCIETY IS A LIAR. Find out what the world truly defines as the perfect body

Pros vs Cons

Pros:

  • Instantly reduces waist by 4 inches* so it instantly gives you an hourglass figure.
  • Has thermal pockets that increase sweating on your waist area which helps burn certain fatty tissues.
  • Greatly helps your posture and alleviates back problems.
  • Makes you feel sexy and confident, with an hourglass shape, all day long, even when you are just conducting your daily routines.
  • Doubles the effectiveness of all your workouts, especially in the area you want it to the most.
  • Not only makes you more confident about your shape, but also inspires you to be your best self, helps you feel invincible and that you can conquer anything that you put your mind to.
  • Minimizes food consumption. (some people may see this as a con)

Cons:

  • Shortness of breath on the first day.
  • Uncomfortable and hard to adopt to on your first day.
  • Waist area can get uncomfortably hot to some people.

After reading so many reviews and articles, I was still a little skeptical because the information wasn’t really there. That did not stop me from experimenting though.

After all;

I figured that the return on investment would be high based on the numerous waist training results online, and based on the encouragement my friend gave me

My waist trainer results.

Based on the pros and cons I mentioned, I believe my waist trainer worked wonders! I even went a step further to help create a unique waist trainer that I think works even better.

Some critics and journalists have made a point that corsets have been proven to physically damage a woman’s body, causing intestines to, for lack of a better term, “squeeze” together and bruise organs around the stomach.

The key point is corsets, not polyester or latex waist trainers

I do believe that wearing a hard, steel- boned corset could potentially damage a woman’s body for the rest of her life, but not a latex/rubber waist trainer because of it’s elasticity and agility.

After owning a corset, I have come to seriously appreciate the flexibility in my latex waist trainer. Corsets often left me feeling winded, out of breath and deeply uncomfortable. The steels bones within the corsets typically leave dents and scars on the torso and can take up to three days to dissolve. In other words, wearing a steel bone corset sucked.

The thing I liked about using my waist trainer is the fact that over time, the trainer reduced weight, suppressed my appetite and is very maneuverable yet comfortable. The best part however was seeing myself in the mirror with it on for the first few times, and watching my body slowly turn into the body I wanted.

It’s a feeling I cannot explain.

Imagine a glimpse into an ideal future; not necessarily a vague future, but one that you deem very possible given the fact that you are seeing it come to fruition. Seeing your self with an instant loss of 2-4 inches* off your waist dramatically improves your morale and motivation. It can literally change your whole perspective of certain things in life.

I felt strong, FIERCE! Like I could take on the world!

It’s amazing how feeling better about my body transformed my spirit. It ignited an entrepreneurial fire in me and made me feel like I could accomplish anything. It was then that my friend and I became determined to help other women feel the very same way.

Because it’s not just about getting that ideal shape. It’s about becoming confident in your own power. (This is how Royal Lioness was born to offer the best waist trainers; but let me get back to my experience.)

My morale was different, and people noticed it too (not talking about the guys who liked the new body btw). My vague, background goal of a better body image became crystal clear and very possible. The simple fact that my body image goals became possible, made me also chase other goals with more determination. I wish I could explain this better but you will really have to experience it yourself for you to understand.

Other things that obviously stand out are the changes in posture and changes in your body. Having great posture and an hourglass body is a gift from heaven that many ladies yearn for. I personally wear my waist trainer at least 4 hours a day. I begin my days by putting my waist trainer on and then, my usual exercise gear. Sometimes, if I’m preparing to sweat a lot, I’ll put clothes on first to avoid having to clean my waist trainer directly. The waist trainer is flexible and allows me to bend and stretch during my exercise routines, which is great for my waist training exercises.See what real customers are saying about Royal Lioness products HERE!

Unfortunately there is some bad news;

As amazing as this garment may seem, it does not show permanent results by itself. The truth of the matter is, in order for waist training to work wonders in the long run, you need to be active. The garment will work by itself, and you will see results, but if you want ideal results, then you will have to be active. I say this all the time because its true. There are two important facts with waist training that you have to understand. For you to really achieve the waist trainer results you want, you need to adopt a basic exercise routine. It doesn’t have to be intense, even just  20 minutes of some cardio or abdominal activity will do. The second fact is that there is nothing out there that can give you a perfect female body as quick and as definitive as a waist trainer.

The only alternative is surgery.

Waist trainers work miracles if you use it as a supplement to your exercise routines. A good example is the beautiful Tiger. Tiger is an already slim lady with an attractive body, but she did not have the hourglass figure. She needed to know how to get an hourglass figure for a competition she had. Long story short, the results were amazing but this is mainly because she worked harder than most.

I cannot emphasize enough on this. If you want to lose over 4 inches* off your waist in less than a month, then you need to change things up. A good start would be the waist vaporizer a technique. The waist vaporizer technique is a routine developed by Royal Lioness that helps you gain these results with tested exercises and diets. It’s still under development, but once its ready we will offer it to the public as a guide to gaining the hourglass shape.
🙄   Find out how long it really takes to gain waist training results and what the real determinants are.

Who is waist training for?

I believe waist training is for any lady who is either looking to know how to lose weight fast or gain an hourglass shape. Mostly, recent mothers like waist training because it helps them with losing baby weight post pregnancy.

Most ladies have found that waist trainers help boost their confidence and motivate them to eat less and healthier and work out more often! The best part is it gives them a sense of hope. One that really brightens their morale and motivation level.

The average woman does not have enough time in her day.

Most of us are working, and those who have children spend a lot of their time taking care of them. A good cheat wouldn’t hurt. Something that can just ramp up the process is much needed. Waist trainers can be worn throughout the day and are flexible enough to carry out daily routines. They are tight enough to give you the hourglass shape underneath your clothes and lose enough to allow you to bend. The waist vaporizer technique especially works great due to the specific fat tissues it targets. A quick daily waist exercise with it on is highly effective than a long waist slimming exercise you may find on a magazine without a waist trainer.

FullSizeRender (2)

Working hard is part of our everyday lives! Our feet hurt and our backs have pain after spending hours standing or even sitting. Waist shapers hold your back upright, naturally giving you a beautiful posture. I experienced the difference when I started wearing it to the office. Honestly you will have to try it yourself to understand how great the garment is, on your posture.

How to use a waist trainer.

As I mentioned before, you cannot just wear a waist trainer and expect magical results. Yes wearing it, in itself, will enable you to eat less, will sweat your waist and help your posture, but for long term results, you need to work. Exercising is important especially waist training exercises. Watching what you eat is also important. Waist training automatically decreases the amount you consume, but you should still watch what you eat. Get started by reading this waist training guide and learning about the waist vaporizer technique.

My personal results

All I added was a simple piece of shapewear. But when I combined it with my hard work, my commitment (and, of course, my friend’s support), I lost 5 inches* in a little over a month! I almost didn’t recognize myself –and in more ways than one! Because, apart from the obvious physical changes, my mindset and morale also dramatically changed. I felt strong, FIERCE! Like I could take on the world!

My before and after corset training compared to my before and after waist training was completely different. The first week of waist training with a waist cincher was not to great, but I ended up getting used to it. Given the fact that it was the summer, I couldn’t stand the heat around my waist. It was hard to do some activities and I was just an overall meany. With the advise of my friend, I then combined my waist training with juicing and working out then things started changing. After a month and a half I had lost 4 inches* off my waist and it felt amazing.

Final rating: Highly recommended

The only thing I did not like is how uncomfortable it was in the beginning, and the frustration. Women always do uncomfortable things to better themselves so I managed to persevere. It definitely worked for me and if you are serious and willing to try it, it will work for you. Waist training with a waist cincher is a thing that I would recommend to every lady looking to get a smaller waist. There is nothing out there that does a better job. Get one and try it out. It’s a cheap and risk free option that I believe every lady should try.

  • Brian nguahA well written, detailed article. I like how you also mentioned the negatives and the detail you went into waist trainers and how it affected you.
  • Sarah OlsonPretty informative. This is the first detailed review I have seen about waist training, and trust me I have looked. I like how you tell your storry and how it worked for you. Too many links to keep track of, but overall the review is informative. Thank you.
  • Joan SimpsonI have been doing a lot of research on waist training and your article just closed the deal for me. I’m going to try it. 🙂
  • JessicaGreat story. Committing yourself to a exercise schedule when you are a full time employee is devastating. However I had surgery in my back and I’m worried this might affect my back. What would you suggest?
    • Naadira burkeI beleive it would affect your back in a good way. The steel bones enable your back to stand straight. This in turn helps with your posture so you shouldn’t worry about that. I will send you an email with all the specific details.
  • CopperheadMy WAIST, itself, is 25″ however….across the belly button and lower abdomen are flabby. I have kept off belly fat for years – until I hit 44 – when I quickly accumulate the proverbial spare tire. I, too, have lower back issues and the perk of helping with that sounds great. I was dx’ed with Fibromyalgia recently, so “exercising on a regular basis” is nearly impossible. When I DO have “good days”, I do yoga 1-2 / week, SOME nautilus, and just started walking again (the weather is so nice right now!).
I crave sweets, but no junk food, really. I’ve been on a supplemental protein drink and products for over 22 years which, I KNOW, have helped me keep my weight down. It’s work.
With all that said – is there a product that targets the areas of my concern?
  • TeeI’ve owned a waist trainer where the “bones” on each side were hurting me (stabbing my mid section) when I sat down in a chair or especially in the car! Does your waist trainer feel this way ?
    • Naadira burkeOur waist trainers are very comfortable due to the thick layer of cotton in the inside. If you look at our customer reviews, you will see how much they praise the level of comfort.

  • PlutoI may be one of those people who are confused with old-fashioned corsets, but is it true that these waist trainers can cause acid reflux? Please don’t lie if it does, I have type 1 diabetes and I don’t want this to affect my health in any negative way. I’m not overweight and I’m actually rather thin from the side, but my waist needs to be smaller if I want it to be proportionate to my side. So overall, my bone structure is the main problem here. I’ve tried so many exercises and nothing has worked too well. This is my last resort (because I was scared of what old corsets did to one’s body) and I don’t really trust many other websites. So if you could please provide me some more information on the pros and cons? It would be highly appreciated.
  • amandawarner255Great information and knowledge you have shared in this blog really very helpful get beautiful waist training and corset at herdailydeal.com and reduce your waist 2 to 4 inches
  • Cae SixeyOk so I work in the fitness industry via dxa body composition scanning. 4 years ago I went into athletics via roller derby. When I started I was overweight with low lean muscle mass. Over time and with consistent work I moved my body to more muscle. However one very slow to move area and the most frustrating has been android fat, aka belly fat. I was actually belly fat shamed at my own gym. Despite macros and strict diet as well as a lot of physical effort my fat refused to move. Finally in desperation I decided to give latex waist training a try. In the last month I chose Anne Chery because it was available at a local store, later I discovered it was cheaper on Amazon. Which is good because within 2 weeks I had to move down two sizes. I had done research because of my work on what mobilizes fat. 2 years ago I had moved to an eat to perform model to support my athletic goal. In my research I came across cold theory on fat mobilization. Studies showed cooling a dark brown fat area substantially changed it into a lighter brown fat which the body uses first when it goes into fat burn mode. It has also been shown that thermogenics aka heat increases fat mobilization. So I chose to also incorporate cool gel and caffeine cream. I wore the trainers religiously. Fitness experts and doctors will tell you the losses are water weight, interestingly enough they will tell you that without looking internally. I have the benefit of a dxa scanner at my disposal whenever I want it. Dxa doesn’t confuse water with fat in the body. It only reads muscle, fat, and bone. With excessive work via two a days and fat loss macro eating I saw a body fat loss of almost 3 percent in 3 weeks. Almost all of it coming from my android. The suggestion is to do 10 hours a day but I am who I am and typically did 14 hours in the tightest fit I could manage during the day while using caffeine cream, including refreshing it at least twice a day especially before exercise. At night I used a size bigger and wore cool gel inevitably at some point in the night I removed the trainer for comfort. I also went to day time wearing of 3 trainers since I had 3 with the drop in my size. My waist went from 29 inches to 27, my upper hip (disappointingly) went from 34 to 32. All in 3 weeks. I used fat burners and bcaa’s in my diet as well. I also watched carbs, dropping down on them on non training days. If I had not seen the results myself I never would have believed it. For reference my waist stayed at 30 for 3 years of athletic training even though my glute and chest area shrunk substantially, eventually I eked out an inch. While it’s not likely to give you fast results without ample work it does move fat in that stubborn area. I can see it on actual testing not via conjecture. The people close to me have noted the reduction visually including the person who runs my scans. I now question the validity of spot reduction. I parroted the no spot reduction theory for a long time.

Are Waist Trainers Effective

If you’re looking for a way to instantly reduce your waistline, you may be considering a waist trainer. But do waist trainers actually work?

The short answer is that waist trainers can provide temporary results. If you wear one of these devices regularly, you may see some changes in your waistline over time. However, it’s important to note that these changes will not be permanent unless you continue wearing the device indefinitely. Additionally, waist trainers can be quite uncomfortable to wear and may cause side effects like skin irritation and difficulty breathing.

So if you’re looking for a long-term solution to slimming your waistline, diet and exercise are still the best options. But if you want to experiment with a waist trainer to see if you like the results, there’s no harm in giving it a try. How to wash your Waist Trainer

If you’re like most people, you probably don’t wash your waist trainer as often as you should. In fact, many people never wash their waist trainer at all! But if you want to get the most out of your waist trainer and keep it looking its best, it’s important to wash it regularly. Here’s how to do it:

First, make sure that your waist trainer is completely dry before you start washing it. Wet waist trainers can be more difficult to clean and can also harbor bacteria.

Next, fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water and add a mild detergent. Gently swish your waist trainer around in the water for a few minutes before letting it soak for about 15 minutes.

After the waist trainer has soaked, rinse it thoroughly with clean water. You may need to rinse it several times to remove all of the soap.

Once your waist trainer is rinsed, wring it out gently and then lay it flat to dry. Avoid hanging your waist trainer up to dry, as this can cause it to lose its shape.

If you have a waist trainer made of latex or rubber, you should also dust it with baby powder or cornstarch after washing and drying it. This will help keep the material from sticking together and will also absorb any moisture that might be trapped inside.

Now that you know how to wash your waist trainer, there’s no excuse not to do it regularly!

Where to buy a waist trainer

move freely. If you’re not sure what size to get, it’s best to consult with a professional

There are a few things to consider when purchasing a waist trainer. First, you’ll need to decide what type of waist trainer you want. There are two main types: underbust and overbust. Underbust waist trainers sit below the breasts and provide support for the lower back and stomach. Overbust waist trainers extend from just below the bustline to above the navel, providing support for both the upper and lower body.

Once you’ve decided on the type of waist trainer you want, you’ll need to choose a size. It’s important to choose a size that is comfortable and will allow you to move freely. If you’re not sure what size to get, it’s best to consult with a professional.

Finally, you’ll need to decide on a material. Waist trainers are typically made from latex, neoprene, or spandex. Latex waist trainers are the most popular type and offer the best support. Neoprene waist trainers are less expensive but may not be as comfortable. Spandex waist trainers are the least expensive but also provide the least support.

Now that you know where to buy a waist trainer, all that’s left is to choose the right one for you! With so many options on the market, it can be tough to decide which one is right for you.
